Appleton Electric explosion-proof and flameproof cable glands for armored and unarmored cables in hazardous locations. ATEX/IECEx EEx d (flameproof) and EEx e (increased safety) certified. UL/cUL Class I Division 1. IP68 rated. Metric and NPT thread entries. Nickel-plated brass and 316 stainless steel for corrosive offshore environments. Used for cable entry into explosion-proof junction boxes, motor terminal boxes, and instrumentation enclosures on offshore platforms, LNG facilities, and onshore petrochemical plants.
