EYS/EYD Conduit Sealing Fittings

Description

Appleton Electric EYS (vertical) and EYD (horizontal) explosion-proof conduit sealing fittings. Required by NEC Article 501 at enclosure entries and Division boundary crossings. Filled with Chico® A compound to block flame and gas passage through conduit. Sizes 1/2" to 4". UL/cUL Class I Division 1 & 2 Groups A–D. Used in all NEC-classified hazardous areas wherever conduit penetrates an explosion-proof enclosure or crosses a Division 1/2 boundary.
