Description

Meltric DS Series 100 switch-rated plugs and receptacles for NEC Class I Division 2 and Class II Division 1 & 2 hazardous locations. 100A, 600V. UL listed for hazardous locations. Dead-front spring-loaded shutter prevents spark ignition when plug is withdrawn. Copper-free aluminium option for hydrogen service. NEMA 4X, IP67. Arc-breaking mechanism contains and quenches arc within the connector body before contacts are exposed to the hazardous atmosphere. Used in petroleum refineries, chemical plants, grain elevators, and paint spray booths.
