Description
Molex M12 A-code 4 and 5-pin IO-Link connectors for IEC 61131-9 IO-Link sensor networks. IP67. M12 screw-lock. Compatible with IO-Link master ports (Class A and B) on major PLC platforms. IO-Link enables point-to-point digital communication between field sensors and the IO-Link master, providing parameterisation, diagnostics, and process data beyond binary on/off. Molex offers both standard M12 connectors and pre-terminated IO-Link cable assemblies with colour-coded shields for Class A/B port identification. Used in smart factory sensor networks, predictive maintenance systems, and IIoT edge integration.
