Description

Neutrik etherCON series — a ruggedised XLR-shell housing that encapsulates a standard RJ45 plug for use in live event, broadcast, and industrial Ethernet environments. Cat5e and Cat6a variants. IP65 when mated with etherCON chassis receptacle. Zinc die-cast outer shell with twist-lock coupling provides the mechanical robustness of an XLR connector around a standard RJ45 core. Full 8-wire Gigabit Ethernet passthrough. Widely used for audio-over-Ethernet (AES67, AVB, Dante, MADI), broadcast control networks, and entertainment lighting (Art-Net, sACN) on touring and fixed installations.
