Description

Patton & Cooke trailing cable couplers for tunneling boring machines (TBM), shaft sinking equipment, and underground civil construction. 15kV class, IP68 for complete water submersion in flooded headings. Neoprene rubber housing. 3-phase power plus ground monitor. Used to power TBM cutterhead drives, muck haulage systems, ventilation fans, and shaft conveyances during tunnel construction. The IP68 rating is critical for tunnel environments where ground water ingress, high humidity, and water spray from cutting operations create near-submerged conditions. Suitable for use in mining shafts, metro tunnel construction, and hydroelectric penstock access tunnels.
