Y (Wye) Splice Junction

Description

Patton & Cooke Y (Wye) splice junctions for medium-voltage cable networks — a factory-moulded or cold-shrink three-way junction allowing a single cable run to feed two separate loads without a transformer or switchgear. 15kV, 25kV, and 35kV class. EPDM moulded insulation. IP68. Used in utility underground distribution networks to feed residential blocks, transformer clusters, and distributed load points from a single feeder cable without requiring additional switchgear. Permanent, maintenance-free joint once installed. Also used in industrial campus power distribution where a single medium-voltage feeder must branch to multiple process loads.
