IM Inductive Coupling System

Description

Turck IM inductive coupling system transfers power (up to 7.5 W) and IO-Link or digital I/O signals across an air gap of 0.5–5 mm without physical contact. The absence of wear-prone contacts enables essentially unlimited cycle life — ideal for rotating tables, tooling plates on machine centres, and AGV docking stations where a physical connector would wear out in months. The primary (stationary) and secondary (moving) units are IP67 rated. Turck's S-series provides single-channel IO-Link coupling; the M-series provides multi-channel simultaneous data and power.
